This laptop was purchased in used condition on eBay. The original battery was worn, with its depleted full charge capacity lasting only around 1 hour. All of the original rubber bottom feet were also torn off, making the laptop slide easily on solid surfaces while typing. I replaced the original battery with a replacement and replaced the rubber feet on the bottom as well. The fans were quite dusty, and the machine was dirty, but I gave it a good deep clean and sanitization. Now it's as good as when it was new. I installed Ubuntu Linux to breathe some new life into the machine because it's a lightweight operating system, especially compared to Windows. It's perfect for multitasking and a proficient homework machine.
